Imagine from out of the blue, four serenaders bearing flowers appear at your sweetheart's home or work place, saying: "Jennifer, Robert has something special he'd like to tell you..." … and out pours a sweet, tender love song in gentle close harmony. Throughout the East Valley, the Harmonizers' barbershop quartets are ready to provide a Valentine's Day gift that will be remembered forever. The Harmonizer's blog
Starting this month, the Harmonizers are volunteering to help another non-profit in town called "Feed My Starving Children" (FMSC). FMSC has been packaging and sending meals overseas for almost 30 years, and recently moved their operations from Tempe to Mesa. As it turns out, a few of our members (and/or family members) have volunteered with the organization before, so this could be a natural fit. Stayed tuned and we'll let you know of our experiences, our first opportunity to "group volunteer" is September 25th.
The East Valley Barbershop Harmonizers wowed the crowd again at Chase Field on May 22nd. Thirty-two of our guys appeared on the field for this event, and a special thanks goes to Jim Brown for subbing as director for our ailing Dick Naas.
This is the 5th summer in a row that the Harmonizers (formerly the Lamplighters) have been asked to perform at Chase Field. We're proud to say that the Diamondbacks have won 4 out of those 5 games (can you say, Good Luck Charms?).
Guys, come on out to our rehearsals and see how easy it is to sing in the Barbershop style, maybe next year YOU will be singing with us at Chase Field!
